This is a really cool picture. The flat angle from the ground gives the viewer a perspective they usually wouldn't see. The medium shot distance adds a lot too, because you can see the pink chalk (is that what it is?) on the cement, the chalk drawing, and the plants in the background without giving too much detail that would distract the viewer's eye. Color is also important, with the bright green in the background that contrasts with the hot pink, which is set on an otherwise neutral gray. There are also nice pastel colors on the gray, which give the picture a playful twist. The overall effect of these elements is whimsical and cheery. One could even assume that someone had just been creating the chalk picture just before the photo was taken, because the bits of chalk are still left out.

I really like this picture. The flat angle of the picture lets us see the chalk and also the drawing on the cement from a different angle. The close up shot makes us feel more involved in process of drawing. The bright colors are really cool. At first my eye was drawn to the pieces of chalk on the ground, then they continued along to the leaves on the bushes and finally I saw the drawing on the cement, making a triangle. The bright colors make everything happy and cheerful.

This picture is really cool. The colors in this picture pop out immediately. The bright lighting makes you feel happy and almost like a kid again playing with chalk. I love how you made the chalk leading lines to the luscious plant in the background. I fell like this is a medium shot because although you get a lot of detail with the chalk and what's written on the drive way but you also can see some environment so that you know that it's in a driveway.

My eyes start at the pink, jump to the green and then slows down to take in the rest, so basically my glance is immedietly directed to the bright colors. My favorite thing about this photo is how I had to stare at it for about two minutes to finally figure out that the pink things ont the cement were chalk. The flat angle makes it harder to see the full shape of the chalk forcing the viewer to look at it a second time and ask themselves if it really is just hot pink chalk on the pavement. I also like the flat angle because it prevents you from seeing what exactly is drawn on the driveway, making the viewer a bit more curious. The medium shot shows the plant which is a strong green making me think that it is nice outside, which ultimately gives me more information about the picture. All in all it's a pretty sick pic.

I like it. I almosy seems to give a childs perspective of the side walk and chalk. The hot pink and leafy background really pop, which make the picture more interesting. And the medium shot gives you just emough perspective. The effect of the shot is very bright and happy, but at the same time, if you look deeper you wonder why the chalk was abandoned. Is it an end of youth and innocence? The toys and games have been left behind to sit while the children go on to different interests. It leaves you thinking.
